Eco Fashion Week Africa
Eco Fashion Week Africa hosts runway showcases, panels, workshops, and collaborative events across Africa and internationally. Each event is designed to spotlight circular fashion, foster meaningful dialogue, and create space for collaboration between designers, communities, and institutions.
Past Events
SEASON 3
Season 3 strengthened EFWA’s international presence and deepened conversations around circular fashion, waste justice, and community led solutions. The season featured designers from across Africa and Asia, alongside panels and collaborations with local and global partners.
SEASON 2
Season 2 expanded regional participation and focused on education, designer development, and the visibility of upcycling techniques rooted in African contexts.
SEASON 1
The inaugural season laid the foundation for EFWA as a platform grounded in culture, sustainability, and grassroots collaboration.

REthink REwear REimagine VOL 2 MALINDI, KENYA
Rethink. Rewear. Reimagine. Volume 2 brings Eco Fashion Week Africa’s circular fashion conversation to Malindi on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at Saffron Garden.
The event combines a curated clothing swap, designer showcase, panel discussion, networking and practical conversations around how we buy, wear, value and extend the life of clothing.
Guia Martinotti, Founder of NoorTribe Lux, joins us as the main speaker, with Belinda Atieno, Co-Founder of Eco Fashion Week Africa and Founder of Coastal Fashion Brunch, moderating the conversation. The panel will feature Ruth Anyango, Co-Founder of Eco Fashion Week Africa and Founder of Dolly The Seamstress; Effue Opiyo, Founder of Buku Leather; and Vera Ajulo, Founder of Vee Fashion Kenya.
Guests are encouraged to bring clean, good-quality clothing they no longer wear and take part in the swap while connecting with designers, entrepreneurs, creatives and people interested in more conscious ways of engaging with fashion.
