Events at Eco Fashion Week Africa
Eco Fashion Week Africa hosts runway showcases, panels, workshops, and collaborative events across Africa and internationally. Each event is designed to spotlight circular fashion, foster meaningful dialogue, and create space for collaboration between designers, communities, and institutions.
PAST EVENTS
Season 3 strengthened EFWA’s international presence and deepened conversations around circular fashion, waste justice, and community led solutions. The season featured designers from across Africa and Asia, alongside panels and collaborations with local and global partners.
EFWA SEASON 2 – 2024
Eco Fashion Week Africa Season 2 brought together designers, communities, and collaborators for a continued exploration of circular fashion and conscious design. Building on the first edition, Season 2 expanded the conversation through runway presentations, workshops, and shared spaces that encouraged more thoughtful approaches to clothing and production.
EFWA SEASON 1
Together, with our incredible partners, Eco Fashion Week Africa was dedicated to utilizing Vol 01 to not only make a positive impact on the environment but also educate people of all age groups about the significant issue of textile waste through a series of intergenerational events and engaging workshops.
We took great care to ensure that we hosted intergenerational activities that were accessible to everyone interested in being part of this.
Collaborations and Shared Impact
We are open to working with organisations, companies, and individuals who share a genuine interest in building thoughtful and impactful experiences. Through our past events, we have brought together diverse communities, creating space for connection, collaboration, and exchange. These moments have led to new opportunities, from creative partnerships and employment to increased visibility for designers and small businesses.At the same time, our work continues to support livelihoods within the communities we engage with, whether through local production, skills development, or creating platforms where talent can be seen and valued. We approach every collaboration with care, ensuring that it contributes meaningfully to both people and the wider ecosystem around fashion.
