Fashion waste is one of the biggest environmental threats in Africa and the world. At Eco Fashion Week Africa, we are challenging designers to create stunning, innovative outfits without using new textiles or materials.
Through the No New Clothes Challenge, we aim to:

The competition is open to emerging and student designers from across Africa who are passionate about sustainable fashion and ready to take on the challenge!
How It Works
Apply Online – Submit your design concept & portfolio. (Application opening soon)
Create & Innovate – Work on your upcycled design following zero-waste principles.
Judging & Shortlisting – Industry experts will review and select the top 10.
Final Showcase – The top 10 finalists will present their designs at Eco Fashion Week Africa’s No New Clothes Runway in front of leading fashion industry professionals.
